Minehead is a great base for exploring the wonderful West Country. The beautiful landscape of Exmoor National Park is right on the doorstep as well as the picturesque medieval village of Dunster, with its marvellous castle.

Further afield are the twin towns of Lynton & Lynmouth with the fantastic cliff railway and a great place to spend the day.

The West Somerset Railway is the longest heritage railway in the country, running from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard, near Taunton, with Mullions only 150 metres
from the station.

Minehead is also the start of the 630 mile South West Coastal Path which will take you all the way to Poole, Dorset.

You might even just want to relax on our sandy beach and enjoy the weather!
